Join fellow OLLI members for open play Mahjong on Fridays from 1–4 p.m. This Shared Interest Group offers a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where players of all experience levels—from beginners to seasoned players—can enjoy America-style Mahjong together. Bring your own set and Mahjong League Card, and come ready for conversation, connection and lots of fun. Players should be able to complete games without assistance. Formal instruction is not provided.

Location: Long Hunter State Park, 2910 Hobson Pike, Hermitage, TN. You will pass the Visitor's Center on the right...continue straight and take the first left leading to the Couchville Lake Area.Ìý
Meet:ÌýAt 8:30 AM a the Kiosk.
Trial:ÌýCouchville Lake Loop is one of the most popular walks in the park.Ìý It features a paved 2.2 mile trail around the Couchville Lake and connects to the Bryant Grove Trail for another 1 or 2 miles.Ìý
Note: This is a State Naturalist Led Hike. Participation is limited and is required.
Features of the Couchville Lake Loop include the lake, which is very low now due to the extreme drought conditions. The dry condition exposes the lakebed and features usually hidden beneath the surface, limestone bedrock, cracked mud, and awesome rock formations.Ìý It’s a very stark and interesting appearance, bordered by the lush ecosystem around the lake. Ìý Other features include the Arboretum featuring 42 species, as well as the wildlife, flowers, ponds, and sinkholes.

Location: River Park, 1100 Knox Valley Drive, Brentwood, TN.ÌýÌýTurn into River Park from Knox Valley Drive and park in the main paved lot, which has over 60 spaces.Ìý
Meet: At 8:30 AM at the large picnic pavilion right next to the parking spaces. It sits immediately adjacent to the public restrooms and the main paved trailhead.Ìý
Trail:ÌýPaved with slight and gradual elevation variation. (easy) We will walk approximately 3.5 miles. The trail is mostly shaded. It winds through dense woods and tree-covered settings along the Little Harpeth River, providing excellent shielding from the summer sun.
